Be your best prepared

Preparing for a boudoir shoot is about more than just lingerie — it’s about tuning into your confidence and self-love. Start by choosing outfits that make you feel powerful and beautiful.
Pamper your skin with gentle exfoliation and hydration, get plenty of rest, and bring an open mind.
Remember, this session is a celebration of you — every curve, smile, and fearless moment. When you feel comfortable and cared for, that confidence shines through every shot!

Hydrate & Rest
Tips
1. Start Your Day With a Glass
Before coffee, before anything — chug a glass of water. It helps wake up your body and jump-start hydration first thing.
2. Flavor It!
Add lemon, cucumber, berries, or mint to make your water feel a little fancy. I also love a little MIO! If plain water bores you, give it a glow-up.
3. Use a Cute Water Bottle You’ll Actually Carry
4. Try a Water App or Timer
Use an app like Plant Nanny, Water Reminder, or My Water to keep you on track
5. Don’t Wait Until You're Thirsty
Thirst is a late sign of dehydration. Sip throughout the day instead of playing catch-up the night before your shoot.
Drink plenty of water and aim for a good night’s sleep the night before. You’ll look more refreshed and feel more energized — trust me, it shows on camera.
Hydration = glowing skin, better energy, and fewer bloating surprises on shoot day.
Avoid New Beauty Treatments Right Before
Facials
"Facials the day before? Only if you're aiming for the 'glowing lobster' look. Give your skin some chill time — 3–5 days ahead is your glow-up sweet spot."
Waxing
"Waxing 24 hours before your shoot? Bold move, babe. Unless red bumps and regret are your aesthetic, book that wax 3–5 days out."
Spray Tans
"Spray tan the night before and wake up like a streaky Cheeto? No thanks. Aim for 3 days ahead so you can bronze, not blotch."
New Skincare Products
"Trying a new serum the night before your shoot? Plot twist: it’s an allergic reaction. Stick to your tried-and-true favorites!"
Pimple Popping
"We know it's tempting… but step away from the mirror, Dr. Pimple Popper. Editing can fix a lot — angry skin isn’t one of them."
